Local anesthesia is to numb only the surgical area (Cervix).

Is this all confidential?

Yes, by law, all information is protected by state and federal regulations and no information can be given without your consent. Not even to your parents.

How much does the procedure cost?

The cost really depends on how far you are into your pregnancy, your weight and if you have had a pregnancy before that required a c-section.

Please e-mail or call for our fees.

Is free urine pregnancy testing provided?

Absolutely!

Is a urine test always reliable?

Not always. It depends on the stage of pregnancy and urine sample. However, an ultrasound test is always precise (as early as 2 weeks pregnant).

How long does the actual procedure take?

The actual procedure takes anywhere from 3-5 minutes for a 1st trimester abortion. A 2nd trimester abortion takes a few minutes longer.

However – like in all surgeries, you’ll have to be in the office 2-3 hours prior to surgery for tests and pre-medications and 1-3 hours after surgery for recovery and medications.

Where can I go to find out world-wide statistics on the abortion procedure and find out more specific facts with regard to teen pregnancy in the U.S.A??

You can go to the Alan Guttmacher Institute’s website:
http://www.guttmacher.org/pubs/fb_ATSRH.html

How far do I have to be to terminate a pregnancy? What “size/date” does the pregnancy have to be for termination?

Pregnancies can be effectively terminated between 4 to 24 weeks after your last menstrual period, however, terminating the pregnancy can be accomplished sooner if need be.

Do we offer the Morning After Pill?

Yes.

How soon After the procedure can I resume sexual activity?

You should not resume sexual activity until you have gone for your follow-up exam or after you have had your first menstrual period.

If I choose adoption over abortion can you refer me to a reputable organization.
